FOOTBALL.
The Oxford Football dab held tbeir annual meeting at the Library on March 6th. The election of officers for the forthcoming season resulted as follows—President, Mr John Ingram; Secretary and Treasurer, Mr W. Alford; Captain, Mr D. McGrath; Sab-Captain, Mr W. Cleaver; Committee and Selection Committee, Messrs D. McGrath, W. Cleaver, and W. Alford.
At a meeting of representatives of the various Ginbe, last evening, it was decided to tender a benefit concert to Mr J. H. W. Uru, captain of the N'tu Aburiri Football Club, who recently lost hie house and furniture by fire. The concert will be held at the Theatre Royal in ApriL
