TO THE EDITOR OF THE PRESS. Sir,—ln justice to the Rev. E. A. Scott, of Sydenham, I will thank you to insert these few lines to assure him that i acknowledge with thanks the trouble taken by him in getting up an eleven to play against the Veterans on Monday, tbe 9th inst., and to convince all those favourable to the City Mission Home, 1 have prepared necessary things to carry out our united and original intention, aud shad be pleased to see any clergyman preseut on the occasion, as 1 have provided a light luncheon and tea at 4 p.m., the latter to be open to all-comets as originally intended, and the former for those playing in the match.—Yours, &c, .
