(PRBSS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, March 7. The Amateur Athletic Club's annual (porta to-day were favoured with splendid Weather and an excellent attendance. The flat racing was quite up to the previous gathering, but the cycling events were not so attractive as usual, owing to the limited competition. In the high jump, Cole, of the Sydney Harriers, jumped sft 6in, beating the standard by lin. The following are the winners of the chief events:—l2o yards handicap—Lusk, 6yds, 1; time, 12sec.
