... ;v : r ~ AUCKLAND, March 7. Ttfe Wesley a\j Coufereilce was occupied the whole morning in consideri g the*second reading of stations. Several suggestions were raa.de by the brethren,' and the Stationing Committee had a lengthy retirement to consider the matter.
The Rev. Mr Morley read a cablegram from Melbourne announcing that the Methodist Union in Victoria had been unanimously adopted to take effect in 1902, and that a fine and cordial spirit had been manifested. A letter was read from the United Methodist Free Church Assembly, stating that Mr Miles had been recommended as a candidate for the Ministry. The 1 Rev. T. J. Jones had permission to remain, for 'H fifth year, the Reve. Abernethy and Griffiu for a fourth year iv their respective circuits.
