i », An acoident fortunately unattended with ' any serious resnlt happened to Mr Barker, ' of St. Albans, on Monday. He was driving * a load of pige near the Islington Freezing ' Works, when the horae shied ab a passing train. Mr Barker was thrown on to the L road, and the wheels of the trap passed 1 diagonally over his legs. Oα examination ' it was found that no bones were broken, 3 bub he received some bad braises and a ' severe shaking. ' On Saturday, Messrs W. and D. D. Mac J farlane, wheu leaving Hawkeswood, met 1 with an upset through the buggy horses 1 bolting. The latter had his anklo badly 1 sprained. The buggy was completely smashed. i ___ !
