CHRISTOHURCH., Saturday, December i~. (Before H. W. Bishop, Esq., 8.M.) Labceny and Obscene Language.— Annie Davis alias Dudfield was charged with these offences. She had been seen to take a pair of boots that were banging at Lonargan'e door, and when arrested they were found in her possession. On her way to the lock-up in the custody of Detective Maddren she made use of most disgusting language. She was sentenced to three months' imprisonment on each charge, six montha in all, with hard labour.
