DUNEDIN.
Dunedin, December 9. The Senior Cup match between the Grange and Albion clubs was brought to a conclusion on Monday last, Avhen the former won by 94 runs. The Albion, who had lost two wickets for 30 runs continued their innings but they only made 79, against the 173 totalled by the Grange when the match was started early in the season.
Another miserable Saturday. For the past five days the weather has been of the Avettest and coldest description. As a consequence no first class match was plaj'ed. Ou the Caledonian ground the Oceana met and defeated the Dunedin Second by 11 runs, Wilkie, Avith 18, being the only one ot the vanquished Avho could make any heatiAivy against the bowling of Butlinand G. Smyth, no less than-seven of the batsmen failing to to add to" the score, which latter only amounted to 27 runs. Butlin bagged seven for 21 runs and Smyth three for 4. A mixed team of the University made a trip to Outram, and had a narrow Avin over the local club. An excellent tea was proAdded by the ladies of the toAvn, and the visitors were entertained at dinner in the evening.
