SATURDAY'S MARKETS.
There was an entry of 60 horses in the yards on Saturday, and a dull sale except for draughts. Medium draughts sold at £15 to £18; best harness horses £9 to £12, medium do £6 to £8 ; best hacks £8 10s tp £1110 a, medium do £6 to £8. There was a large entry of pigs, the bulk being stores, and there was a fair demand for all classes except weaners. Sows made from 18s to 225; large porkers up to 253, small do 16s to 193 ; large stores 12s 6d to 15a, small do 9s to 123 ; weaners 4s to Ba. There was an average entry of poultry and a good de. mand, competition being ver; , brisk. Roosters sold at 23 9d to 4s, hena and pullets 2s 3d to 33, ducka 3s to 4s 3d, geese 4s 6a to 63, turkeys (cocks] 10s to 14s, all at per pair.
