A TERRIBLE STOEM. PLAGUE aSd"cHOLEBA. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. Sydney, June 10. Eastern news by the steamer Taiyuan states that, a terrible whirlwind and hailstorm swept Japan about the middle of May. Hundreds of buildings were destroyed. Seven persons were killed, and many wounded. Taku also suffered greatly, and many lives were lost. The t. black plague is still raging at Macao, the average death rate being about thirty. The epidemic has entirely disappeared from Hong Kong. Cholera is raging at Bangkok.
