Two teamsters, named Mulligan and Ligar, who were carrying rations to the Victoria Downs Station, wereattaoked by a large body of blacks. Ligar, although badly speared, assisted Mulligan to make a barricade among the waggons with flour bag 3. They stood a siege for three days and then drove off their assailants with rifles and escaped. The blacks returned and looted the camp and then made off.
