BROKEN HILL CENTRAL MINE, At a meeting of shareholders in the Broken Hill Central mine some warm remarks were passed about the prcn posed sale of the property. One speaker alleged that a syndicate wanted the mine for a new secret process of treatment of sulphides. They did not desire to publish the secret to the whole world, but wished to work it in this way to the fullest advantage. Mr Adams, themine manager, explained his action in announcing the new discovery. Its probable value might be about £15,000, but he could not tell definitely.
