The following were the midday quotations :—Big River 18s 9J to 19s 6d, Buller Dredge 4a 3d to 4s 9J, Cumberland Is 6d to 2', Cocksparrow Dredge 2s to 2s 6d, Globe 3s 6d to 4s, Hercules la 9d to 23 3d, Keep It Dark _6s 6d to 17a 6d, Progress 12. to 12s 6J, Lyeil Creek 2s 9d to 3s 3d. Alpine 5s 6d to 6s, Wealth 5a 6d to 6s, Welcome 9d to Is. The Buller Dredge washed down on Friday for 490z Bdwt, Keep It Dark had 78oz of amalgam from 64 tons from the low level (top plates), Big River 200oz of amalgam from 103 tons'(top plates), Hercules 131ozof amalgam from 106 tons (top plates), Progress 1570z of amalgam from 220 tons (top plates).
