His Honour tnen called two N-tive witnesses who had given evidence for the deience, and addressing them through an interpreter, said, " I have sent for you two witnesses to s.vy a few words to you. You have sworn to-day that which I am sure the jury do not believe ; you hive knowingly sworn falsely to get your friends off if you could.
