DUNEDIN WINTER SHOW.

* (B\ T__.H-K.-x-H) (FfiOM OUB SPECIAL KErORTEB). DUNEDIN. June 6. The Otago Agricultural and Pastoral Association's Winter Show Avas continued to-d_y, when there was again a large attendance. In the morning Mr J. B. McEwan, the dairy expert, gave a lecture on cheese a_d butter m-kmg, and Mr M. Murphy read a paper (by Mr Georg. Gray, F.C.B ), on the •'Composition and cure of milk," and in the afternoon Mr J. A. Gilruth, M.R-C.V.G., gave a lecture on " Various diseases,'' and Mr McEwan an address on " The future development of the dairy industries." Visitors to the show evinced warm interest in the various exhibits. In addition to the exhibits briefly noticed in yesterday's issue, the Urge room upstairs is well worthy of special mention, for therein is displaced an excell-.nt eollec tion of butter, home-made bread, honey, scone 3, dead poultry, &c. In the room below the main hall there is a good collection of farm implements aud machinery. The well-known firms of Morrow Ba9sett, Audrews and Bevan. Walter A. Wood, Reid and Gray, Massey- Harris, and a number of others aro strongly represented, and the collection as a whole is a Aery attractive and interesting one.
