* At the annual meeting of the Auckland ; 6as Company declared of 7s $d on the pas-np shares and 3a 9d on the (art paid-ap shares. The shareholders authorised an increase of the qualification of. the Directors to £300, and placing the reserve in speoifio securities. Mr J. F. Field-was appointed a vtt* the Hon.ii. JL Dixnau, deceased. Messrs R. Upton were re-elooted.
