- Saspbdat, Jatscary 26- • (Before R. Beetham. Esq., S.M.) Rkbiands.— William Longuey Fowler, charged with stealing twenty sheep, ,the property of J. Brabazon, at Aylesbury, on January 14th ; E. Russell, arrested at Picton, charged with the forgery and uttering of acheque for £710s, purporting to be signed by R..Steel, at Christchurch, on December 19th, and Alfred Doble, arrested at Wellington, charged with stealing ss, the money of Wm. Hayes, at New Brighton, on December 17-. h, were remanded till January 30th. Fowler was allowed bail, himself in £100 and one auretv in a like amount.
