Shot crepoh costumes are stylish, a | green and blue for example, the nkirt bordered with a band of green velvet, headed by white guipure, the pattern cue out and-applique on to the material. The bodice has full sleeves of green checked silk, and rounded revere; resting on these, two smaller ones of bright green velvet, edged with • white embroidery, shaped J pieces of the green velvet and of the | guipare~ being introduced on the back-and ' front of the bodice. i A girlish muslin dress singnlarly pretty, is white with pink sprigs, the skirt edged with a couple of lace frills over pink, pink 1 ribbons cmneing on the bodice, a large double puff to the sleeves with frills of lace at the elbow. A yoke with triple frills of pink satin and lace makes the bodice becoming to a slender figure. A fawn cape and skirt, together with a fancy blouse bodice, constitute a band- . some toilette, the aeitrfie of both cape and-1 skirt being strapped, and on tbe latter ' these are laid in zigzag, rows. .The bodice is of glace shot purple and etraw-etoloure, fancy eilk. A yoke of cream guipure oved purple velvet, and fall sleeves of the fcilkr with velvet- cuffs, Tendered the bodice dressy. Up rhe front*/brides of the purple velvet terminate in/large ears, reflexed < with corn-coloured satin: on one a rosette , of black satin with eafts Unlaced.
