HOSPITAL AND CHARITABLE AID BOARD.
The annual election took glace yesterday of members for the Hospital and Charitable Aid Boards with the following results. ;— Selwyn County Council—Hospital Board, Messrs H. \V. Peryman, W. Dunlop, A. Wiffeu, and J. G. Murray. ;£haritable Aid Board, Messrs R. Westenra, H. W. Peryman, J. Rennie, and W. Danlop. City Council —Hospital Board, Crs. CM. Gray and R. Wood. Charitable Aid Board, Crs. J. T. Smith and E. Smith. For Sydenham and Sumner Messrs J. Harifield and J. Forrester were elected. For the North Canterbury District, Ashley County, Mr E. Mulcock for the Hospital and Mr R. H..-"Parish for the Charitable Aid Board were re-elected. The election of one member for the Charitable Aid Board and <Sac for the Hospital Board, representing the boroughs of Lyitelton, Rangiora, Kaiapoi, and St. Albania, took place at the Provincial Council Chamber at 3 p.m. Mr W. G. Walker ipree'ded, and there were present—Lyttelton, Messrs Brics and Chalmers ; Rangiora, Mr T. Keir; Kaiapoi, MrFeldwick: Bt. Albans, Messrs F. Waymouth and H. O. D. Meares. The first election was for the Hospital Board. Mr Waymouth nominated Mr W. Moon Mr Bbice seconded the nomination. Mr Walkbk declared Mr Moor duly elected. " . . ■ . Mr Feu>wicic proposed—"That Mr Chalmers be elected aa a member of the Charitable Aid Bodurd, representing the united boroughs." -Mr Keik seconded the motion, which was agreed to, and Mr Chalmers was declared elected.
