The Wellington representatives start on their southern tour to-day, and will arrive in Christchurch en route for Dunedin tomorrow morning. During the day the team will indulge in (special practice at Lancaster Park, with the object of makiug themselves as familiar as possible with the ground. The Wellington team represents the full batting and bowling strength of thf&province, and is undoubtedly a powerful combination, and, as the locil team will comprise all our best men, the forthcoming iutecjjcovincial match, which takes place at Lancaster Park on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of next week, should prove one oi the most exciting interprovincial matches ever played in Canter bury. t
