ANOTHER SHEARING TROUBLE.
(P&BSS ASSOGtAXIOK TELSOKAH.) OAMARU, October 25. The shearers at Mr Menlove's Windsor Park station refused to sign the agreement on account of the obnoxious clause forfeiting half the wages earned if they leave or are dismissed before the shearing closes. The men are willing to accept the penalty in cases where they leave of their own accord, bat not when dismissed. A deadlock now exists, neither aide being prepared to give way. It is anticipated there is going to be serious trouble over the shearing in the North Otago district.
