ESTIMATES OF THE WORLD'S CROPS.

The annual crop estimates issued by the Hungarian Minister of Agriculture were published on September Ist, the delay in their issuance having beeu due to the care bestowed upon the revision of the report. According to these estimates the world's crop of wheat is 187,000,000 bushels larger than last year. The largest deficits are found in Great Britain, 170,220,000 ; France, 19,859,000 bushels; Germany, 32,625,000 bushels ; Italy, 29,783.000 bushels; Belgium, 25,533,000 bushels, and Austria, 31,774,000 bushels. The biggest Burplus countries are Russia, with 141.830.000 bushels ; Hungary, with 45,392,000 bushels ; Roumauia, 19,859,000 buahels; United States, 70,925,000 bushels ; India, 22,696,000 bushels ; Australia, 14,185,000 bushels, and Argentine Republic, with 73,762,000 bushels. The total World's crop is giveu at 2,476,000,000 bushels for 1894, against 2,279.000,000 bushels for 1893 and 2,280,000,000 bushels, the official average for the past decade. The deficit requiring to be covered by importing countries is 364,526,000 bushels for 1894, against 579,000,000 bushels in 1893. The surplus from exporting countries is 444,245,000 bushels, against 378,664,000 bushels in 1893.

The report ia so much at variance in many particulars with our rent beliefs that it was not generally credited in America.
