(PKESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) '' PORT CHALMERS, April 27. The schooner Sarah and Mary, with a cargo of wheat from Lyttelton for the Bluff, put in here with the lose of the whole of her sails, which were blown to ribbons on the 23rd. About twenty-five miles east of the Bluff she encountered a hurricane from the westward, which held until the 24th, her lee rail for hours being under water. On the night of the 24th Captain Bmith was compelled to run bafore the gale to clear the centre of the cyclone, until midnight, when she was again headed towards the land, and anchored nnder Moeraki Peninsula until the morning of the 26th, when she got under weigh with v northerly breeze and ran inside Taiaroa Heads td procure fresh canvas.
