(FUSS ASSOCIATION TBLXORAMS-l AUCKLAND. Maroh & A largely attended meeting ot the Auckland accountants was held to-day, Mr S. Clark Johnstouo in the ohair. The objeot i of the meeting was to lay before the accountants of Auckland as a body the points of difference between the Auckland aud Wellington Committees in regard to i the memorandum and articles of association submitted by the latter, and to obtain thtir collective opinion thereon. Attheß.M. Court, at Wangarei, C. W. ! Mortyn, alias Carrel!, was charged with forging a cheque for £11 8s 6d, purporting to be signed by D. H. Munro, and also for altering a cheque of A. Turner's from £8 12s 9d to £80 12s 9d, which he cashed, obtaining the money from the Colonial Bank. The prisoner was committed for trial. To-morrow by the Glenelg a representative team of the Auckland Polo Club, consisting of Dr. Purchas, Mr W. A. Bloornfield, and Colonel Grove, leave Onehunga for Wanganni to take part in the Savile Cup Tournament, to be held there next week. Mr E. D. O'Rorke will join the team at Wanganui.
