The New Zealand Land Association, Limited, sold 80S skins, 44 hides, and 8 packages fat at the following prices:— Best halfbreds 4a lOd to sa, best longwools double fleece up to 6s 2d, best merinos 4s 4d to ss, medium do 2a 9d to 3s lOd, lambs lid to Is 7d, pelts up to 10d, dry crossbreds and merinos (station skins) average 5d per lb, rough fat (per lb) l£d to lfd, tallow (per cwt) 16s to 20s, hides Id to 4d per lb. Tone of market brisk. Mr E. G. Staveley (in conjunction with the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand, Limited) sold skins, hides and fat at the following prices :— Best crossbreds 2s 7d to 3s , medium do Is lid to 2s 3d, best merinos Is 6d to Is 9d, medium do 9d to is id, lambs 2s to 3s 3d, dry crossbreds and dry merinos prices equal to from 4_d to fid per lb, rough fat (per lb) lid to l|d, tallow (per cwt) no alteration, hides and calfskins ljd to 4<L Tone oi market very firm, competition brisk. Messrs Wilson and Sons sold skins, bides and fat at the following prices:—Best halfbreds 2s 6d, medium do Is lid, best longwools 2s sd, medium do 2s, best merinos 2s, medium do Is 7d, lambs 2s sd, pelts 101, rough fat (per lb) l|d, l|d to 2d. Tone of market good.
