: »i ; (FBZSS ASSOCIATION TELW3RAM3.) AUCKLAND, March 7. While gorse was burned off one of theTakapuna roads a cottage occupied by Lockhart caught fire and was destroyed. GIS BORNE, March 7. Tfie insurance on Crawford's, brewery, are South British £400, Royal £1200, North German £700. North British £100. Total, £2400. OAMARU, March 7. Weir's Railway hotel at Ngapan was totally destroyed early this morning by fire. There is no clue as to the origin. The insurances are—Building £700 in the Royal, furniture £300 in the Standard. Nothing was saved. A fire broke out also this morning in the debris of Pocklington's boot factory, but was quickly subdued.
