THE LICENSING ELECTIONS.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAMS.) WELLINGTON, February 26. The licensing elcciions here have been fixed for March 21st. DUNEDIN. February 26. Messrs A. Bartleiuun, W. Hislop, and Keith Ramsay will stand on the independent ticket for the licensing election-. Mr Fish, the Mayor, will also be a candidate. The complete list of candidates now selected foi nomination to the City Licensing Committee by the Temperance Political Committee is Messrs W. Dickson, J. Jolly, Jun., J. Selby, H. Spears, T. Scott, VV. Wardrop, A. Walker, and VV. H. Warren. HOKITIKA, February 26. A public* meeting of the Temperance party, held this evening in connection with the licensing elections, was thinly attended, and little enthusiasm was displayed.
