The monthly meeting of this Board was held on Monday, February 12th. PresentMessrs Dickinson (Chairman), Catherwood, and Gallettly. Correspondence was read and dealt with as follows:—From the Minister of Justice, with reference to the appointment of the Rangiora Borough Couucil to have authority within the licensiug district of Kaiapoi. Received. From tne Charitable Aid Board, with reference .. to this Board's contributions, Received. From Oxford Road Board, in reference to their account. To be paid. From the Government Land Department, covering leaflets. From Ivie Hovveit, asking for an extension of time to finish his contract. Granted. It was agreed that tbe purchase of small birds' eggs cease on the 20th February in-t. Resolved—That all rates mußtbe paid and all dogs registered by the 15th March next., or proceedings will be taken against all defaulters to recover the same.. Tenders were received for break* iug stones on O'Farrell's and Mill roads, and the lowest accepted. Accounts amounting to £45 15s 5d were-passed and ordered to be paid, and the meeting then " terminated. *~,:.
