THE WORLD'S TRIO.

A itnall but compact dnd excellent working Company, under the title of "The World's Trio," opened their season at the Toam street Hall last night, when there was a large audience. ■ The first part comprieed the naoal chair minatrel items. The stage was very prettily eat, and the effect was good. Messrs Mooney and Philips were on one end and Measra Crawford und Stowe on the other, Mr Naylor being the interlocutor. In connection with the jokes it may be noted that those giving them spoke so fast and so loudly that the majority, of the audieno* did not hear them. Of the various items in the first part "Daisy Bell,'' the new craze which has ■ taken possession of oar gilded youth, was prettily given by Misses Delroy and Lynne, who eing well and dance with a-good- deal of grace. Miss Holbein and Mies Robertson sang ballads, and Messrs Mooney, Crawford, and Stowe contributed the comic element with great success. The conclusion of the firet part was one of the funniest as well aa the cleverest we have had here. In this Messrs Crawford and Mooney went through a series of acrobatic feats on the trapeze, which were quite astonishing. In the second part the same two gentlemen gave an exhibition of high kicking and grotesque dancing, which most be seen to be appreciated. It is exceedingly clever and quite took the audience bY storm, Mr Naylor sang a song with a jodelh'ng refrain very well, and Misses Delroy and Lynne scored a success with their song and dance "The Rowdy Dowdy Boysj" in which they did some graceful skirt dancing. Messrs Stowe and Mooney's knoekabous aoug and dance was rery clever, exhibiting wonderful acrobatic ability. Miss Robertson, who has a nice pleasant voice, sang a couple of ballads well, and Mica Ida Holbein gave a serio-comic song.- The quartette song and dance by : Misses Deiroyasd Lynne and Messrs Stowe and Mooney went very Well indeed. A couple of aketcbes *' Oysters" and "The Lauadry Pantomime " were given and were highly appreciated by the audience, especially the latter. The Company will appear again, this evening.
