Michael Houlihan wai to<day fined £15 and costs for aly-grog-aeUing in the Ltith Valley. Two conatablea, who were unknown to the man, entered his honae and atating that the Hqni«l, which resembled pcrter, which bad been given them wna too heavy, asked for and got whiskey, which was paid for. A search next day resulted in only a little drop of whiskey being found. Walter Robertson waa fined £3 and costa nnd the conviction endorsed on huwicenscict- selling liquor on Sunday on ha premises, the Liverpool Arms.
