In connection with the wages difficulty that has arisen on tbe Union Pacific railway the Courts have decided that the men must accept 10 per cent, reduction and hare forbidden them to strike.
London, February 1.
Messrs Pickard and Woods declare it is futile to confer with the coal owners unless the men are conceded a minimum and controlling voice in the price of coal.
