Melbourne, February 1. The Victorian liquidator of the Federal Bank has applied to the Supreme Court for an order to compel the local liquidator to remit the moneys collected to assist him in paying a dividend of 2s 6d in the £. The local liquidator pointed out .that 3s 7Jd in the £ had been collected in Melbourne, 7s 9_d in Sydney, and 10s 9d in Adelaide. The Judge characterised the Melbourne liquidation as extremely unsatisfactory and dilatory, and refused the order with costs.
