Friday, September 15. (Before R. Beetham, R.M., J. R. Campbell, and H. J. Hall, J.P.s, Esqrs.) Straying Cattle. —W. McHwraith, for allowing horses to stray on a public road was fined 5s and costs. Abusive Language.—J. Christey, for using abusive and insulting language to W. J. McGuiness, was fined Is and costs. Civil Cases. —W. Hibbard v J. Moore, claim £13 18s 2d. Plaintiff admitted having received cheque for £6 on account, and judgment was for the amount claimed, less £6. Izard and Loughnaa v Geo. Hanna--1 ford; claim £3 17s 6d, law costs; judgment ! for defendant.
