He is supposed to have accidentally fallen in. ! A baby was found exposed on the verandah of a residence in Newton road at 8.30 to-nieht. It was taken in, and is now in the hands of the police. Tho Samoa Weekly Herald has changed hands ; the new proprietor is Mr Denvers, Clerk of the Supreme Court. He will personally edit and conduct the journal. A robbery of £40 worth of tobacco and cigars took place hist night at H. Ellison's, tobacconists, Grey street. The place was entered by skeleton keys. The Judge in the Supreme Court granted the application by the Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, and appointed Mr Battley, general manager, provisional liquidator in the colony for the Company.
