WEST OXFORD.
This Committee held their ordinary meeting on the 4th instant. Present— Messrs Candy (Chairman), Ancall, Knowles, A. P. Priehard, aud A. C. Prichard. The Master's report was received showing average attendance to be 109.1, and number ou books 134. A letter was received from the Board indicating that salaries need not be paid till after the Committee's ordinary meetings provided they are within seven days. The Clerk was ordered to inform the Master that the Committee disapproved of the practice of keeping children in during the dinner hour. Accounts to the amount of £3 2s 8d were passed for payment, and the Committee adjourned.
