AUCKLAND, May 13. The Rev. Mr Calder, who visited Scott thiß morning, says the accused now appears fidgety. Scott stated that he wished to make a written statement, which will probably be taken on Monday.
May 14. Daring an interview which Pastor Blackie of the Baptist Tabernacle had with the convict Scott, the latter protested his innocence of the Waikomiti murdei. Scott is to make a statement to the Rev. W. Calder on Monday.
