Mr Carrington, who purchased Crackshot from Mr V. Harris, took delivery on Thursday, and the sou of Nordenfeldt and Pungawerewere waa at once shipped North for Gi-borne, bis new home.
The Canterbury Trotting Club's autumn meeti-K takes place to-day. The following are selected as probable winners:— Maiden Saddle Handicap—Spreydon L*d. Maiden Harness Handicap—Gentle Annie. Pony Saddle—Chance. Autumn Saddle Handicap—We-tleigh or Opossum. Ad--injrton Handicap—Butcher Biy 11. or Madge. Selling Race—Pegasus. Stewards* Handicap—General Tracey. Final Handicap—Westlcißh. Wheel Race—Maid of Ulster.
