ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
, ♦ On Friday a. ganger at Oxford, named McCullough, while testing a fog signal by placing it on the line and striking it with a sledge hammer, received an injury by part of the metal from the signal flying against his forehead and becoming embedded between the skin and the bone. He was attended by Dr. Weld, who removed the piece of metal. [PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.] OAMARU, May 12.
