(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) NEW PLYMOUTH, May 10. Goodman, a recently created J. P., was charged this morning, at the R. M. Court, with assaulting Jatnee C. George.; Goodman was further charged with using profane, ituleceut and obscene language in a public place. George gave evidence that the defendant struck him on his bask in front of the Government Buildings aud used the words, "I am still alive you ; " "I will pull .your nose next time you iusult mc in your office ; " "I'll kick your ■."
