Pmh AnocUtion— Blectrlo Telegraph—Copjrlfiht. London, May 7. At a mass meeting of Trades Unions in Hyde Park resolutions were passed demanding the legalising of the eight hours system. The dockers at Hull stoned the proprietor of a newspaper which was averse to them. The Bristol strikers have resumed work. May 8. An attempt to set fire to the Oil Company's tanks at Hull was defeated and also an attempt to wreck three trains conveying free labourers.
