HAMPSTEAD.
The annnal treat and distribution of prizes in connection with the Hampstead school took place on the 15th inst. ' Mr W. J. Crooks, Chairman of the- Committee presided and Major Steward distributed a large Dumber of prizes, Mrs Steward presenting the sewing prizes. Addresses were given by the (Chairman), Major Steward and the Rev. J. Cocker. The scholars and a large number of parents and others were then entertained at tea.
