CHRISTCHURCH HOSPITAL.
TO THE EDITOR OF THB PRESS. Sra r —Kindly allow mc space in your valuable paper to express my deep gratitude and best thanks to Dr. Deßenzi, House Surgeon.the Lady Superintendent.Mr Brown, also head day nurse, Miss Medlam, and night nurse, Miss Cameron, for their mostkind and systematic attention I received as one of the sufei-ing oi No. 6 ward. Sir, honour to whom "honour is due j and, sir, I trust that God may preserve them for many years of service to suffering humanity, as I look upon the above as a most efficient staff, full of kindly sympathy. But, sir, before I close I must draw public attention to the fact that the extension of a new ward is urgently required, as many patients have been obliged to give up their beds at various hours of the night to make room for fresh cases of accident. Sir, I think that as we have a Liberal Government, with a good surplus, the practical way of showing their liberality is to grant the needed sum lor the above extension to make the Christchurch Hospital replete.—*_ours, &c., M. Pabbett. Tai Tapu, August 2nd, 1892.
