PROHIBITION.
to she kshob or she fasss. Sta, —Having read in yours of the 4th of August, a letter signed by " Wink the other eye." The writer blames Mrlsitt for squandering money in courts. of law that would be of the greatest relief to his fellowmen in Sydenham and elsewhere, and if Mr Isitc would only read the calls made by Mr Herrick, and present him with half the cost of a recent case in the Supreme Conrt came to he would be showing himself a true minister of religion, and now Mr Editor, it is the opinion of all true prohibitionists that the drink traffic is the principal cause of poverty, and the only reason that Mr laitt and those that think with him have in view in the prohibition of tbe liquor traffic is that to a very great a*-***"-* poverty and crime would be prevented ; and surely Mr Editor, it is much more like a minister of the gospel to prevent an evil than that he should support the result of the traffic. Please insert the above and oblige.—Yours, &c, Robert Cuepsass.
