LODGE MEETINGS.

The Royal Standard Lodge, No. q\ Protestant Alliance, held .their usual fortnightly meeting in the Free Method dist Schoolroom on Monday evening, the W.M. Bro. A. Lusty presiding. Tfcs Committee on the late concert brought up their report, which was a great success, ass considerable sum was in hand for the widof and family of the late brother. Hearty votes of thanks were accorded to .all.w ladies and gentlemen who helped by'th&tf services to make it a success; also totM Addington Brass Band for kindly W*P°t outside the hall. . L.0.L., No. 5 Scarlet Line, held its nam monthly meeting in the Orange HtdV St> Albans, on Tuesday evening, 19th. Br* James King, Worshipful Master, and there was a good attendance of memteft Correspondence was then dealt with. .«* 2 sent an invitation to the Lodge to ftttfs their next meeting, when Bro. AmbMJJ* would be presented with a • certificate, which was received W»» thanks. Bro. J. W. Martin, n** o No. 845, Canningstown, County Cww, Ireland, joined the Lodge by certiifc cate. The W.M. presented Bm 3*™* Tolerton and Robert Coleman with a certificate, which were very h^^^ e ;£ framed by Mr Pago of Opawa, the brothers returning thanks to tho Lodge for the same. The Social Committee reported that tw arrangements were being carried out saws' factorily, and it was decided that the W«»» commence at 7 p.m. on Monday, cveamj next. A good deal of routine business wm disposed of, after which the Lodge wsl dosed in the usual manner by the W.M. The Dauntless Lodge, 1.0.
