[PBE PBBSS ASSOCIATION.] Received February 4th, 11 a.m. TRAGEDY IN ADELAIDE, Adelaide, February 4. A painter named Lowenthall shot his wife three times, and a fourth shot struck a baby she was nursing. The woman died, but the child has recovered. DR KOCH'S LYMPH. Brisbane, February 4. Five injections of Dr. Koch's consumptive lymph have been given to a patient suffering from consumption, and no bad results have been felt. PLEUROPNEUMONIA. Melbourne, February 4 Pleuropneumonia is very prevalent in some parts of the colony, and the Stock Inspector recommends that the cattle be inoculated with anti-pleuro virus. Received February sth, 1 a.m. THE FEDERAL COUNCIL. Stdnbt, February 4. Arrangements for holding the Federal Conference are completed. Mr Frederick William Webb, clerk of the Legislative Assembly, has been ftppointed Secretary.
