The following Iβ the Wellington MJdlant Club's team to play agalneS theChriefr church Midland Club on Wednesday and Friday:—Blackioek (2), Salmon, McGrr, Richardson, NichoUe, Wynyard, FlUsimmons, Dryden-Mansell (2). Owing to the delays on the West Coast, where they were bar-bound and generally had extremely unpropitious weather, the visitor* will not play at Nelson, bat come etraigh) here. . On Christmas Day a match teas playet at Dnnsandel between the Quoit Club and the Cricket Club, resulting in a win fox the Cricket Club by an innings and 34 runs. The Quoit Club in their first innings only put 13 runs together, and In their second they managed to make 22 runs. The opposing team made 79 runs. During I the afternoon the ladies provided refresh' ! ments for the players. I A match was played at Eyreton on Saturday between elevens of Eyreton and Ohoka, resulting in a win for Ohoka by 43 runs. McDonald, the Midland crack, was top scorer for the loaers with 3 and 55; J. Booker for the Ohoka with 44 and 14. McDonald bowled best for the losers, and J. Booker and G. and D. McGregor for th# winners.
