At the meeting of the Auckland Tret* ting Club, at Epsom, the Trotting Cop, three miles, was won by Commodore, 40s6c. ittlOmin&ec Vampire won the Pony Cap, one mile, and Reoben the Pony Steeplechase. While ridioe M the latter race a boy named Williams, who lives at Waioka, was thrown and received concussion of the brain, whilst hie shoulder blade was broken. The lad is now in coaditloa at the Auckland Bospital* ' '
