- Friday, May 2. (Before B. Beethara, Esq., 8.M., and G. Gosaet, ISeq., J.P.) Mbceixankous.—W. Fabling, for cattle trespassing, was fined lUs and costs. —H. Thompson and W. Thompson, charged with trespassing and shooting on the property of C Withell on 26th March, were cautioned and discharged. For using abusive language, W. Scubbs was fined 40s with costs. Thomas Home, for assaulting W. Hepburn, was tined 20s and costs, with costs of witnesses, 183. On the application of Catherine McKay a prohibition order was made against J as. McKay. f Civil. Cases.— J. McLeod v John Abbot, claim £8 for breach of contract. Judgment for amount claimed with costs. Mr Busseil appeared for plaintiff. H. Wallace v T. Miln. Mr Douglas Wynn Williams for plaintiff, Mr Busseil for defendant. This was a claim for £50 damages for alleged breach of an engagement by defendant, who engaged plaintiif as engine driver for the tnreshing season. Judg. ment was for plaintiff for £22 10s and costs'
