Sandays uid holidays excepted, e& lo clock p.m., New Zealand mean time, which is equivalent to 18.30 Greenwich mean time of the previous day, being calculated for the IJV Sff East Longitude, and llhr SOmin bat of Greenwich aaean time. The ball will be raised at about 2min to Ip.m., and will be at the top about Imin to 1 p.m. , m . When taking the time be careful to : note the exact moment the ball leaves the top of the mast. . Should the ball not drop at the proper time, it will be kept at the top for at least (wo minutes, and then lowered slowly.
