G ay 8 various communications to the New _._a land Early Closing Association, aud u<. letters to the Press, let mc say all letterreceived from this party, answers sent from the Association to him, together with the Association's final reply to his last (which 'was the cause of his explana. Tory letters being rejected), will be duly made public. This last reply will, of course, be indited from the Association's General Committee meeting on Monday next, and were it not for his (CM. Gray's) covert sneer at the Rev. Thos. Flavell, I should have taken no notice ot the matter until then. But without forestalling public opinion, and in simple justice to the rev. gentleman, I may say everyone will uphold the Association's action and exonerate the rev. gentleman.—Yours, Sec, ' B. CIABE-
