Mr Parser explained that the deputation were informed that 'Mr Meers, while paying under the Dunedin log, was having more-work put into the garments than he was entitled to. Mr Meers asked to what they referred. Mr Parker said the pockets were no* put in by the ta_achlnis_*. Mr Meers assured tbe deputation that they were, and produced samples of work in support of his assertion, fie took tt» visitors through his factory, and after explanations the deputation came to the conclusion that their information was not correct, and that Mr Meers was working strictly to the Dunedin system and log. The proceedings then terminated. >
